The Purpose of Our Clinical Scans
Medical/ clinical scans are an important part of your health care. If you or your GP feel that a scan is necessary, Ultrasound Care can do this for you.
Ultrasound Scans are perfectly safe and do not emit any radiation. Scans are similar to pregnancy scans and are able to create an image of the are being focused on. From these scans, reports are compiled, and your GP is able to establish if there are any underlying medical problems that need treatment.
Results of Your Ultrasound Scan
Results from your scan will be compiled into a report immediately following your appointment by the sonographer. This report will include all medical imaging from the scan as well as any findings.
These reports are sent to you for follow up with your GP.
