Pelvic well-being scan

Our Pelvic Well-Being Scan

A pelvic well-being scan may be your first point of call should you be worried about anything.
This scan is available to women from the age of 16 years. It is a painless procedure and will involve an ultrasound probe being applied to the abdomen, we will request you wear loose clothing and a full bladder will be required for this scan, you will be asked to drink 3-4 pints of water 1 hour before the scan. A full report will be compiled to your GP to follow up.
